Kids love our new Kingston venueKingston

20 Thomas Street

CCE moved into part of this rented space at the beginning of February, 2007 and has gradually expanded its presence in this recently renovated structure. The building now houses our main office, a 1300 square-foot dance studio, a percussion studio, a computer music lab with nine Mac terminals, a waiting room and a homework/tutoring center.

Stone Ridge

3588 Main Street

CCE’s site in Stone Ridge is located in a renovated old church and has a small café, a living room, and two 1000 square foot work spaces. The upstairs studio is primarily used for yoga and tai chi, while the downstairs is a dance studio with a state of the art sound system, portable stage, lighting, mirrors, and 85 folding chairs.

The large walls in this building have been used for numerous art exhibitions over the years and we are in the process of creating an outdoor sculpture park in the four acres behind the building. Also in the developmental phase are another classroom/performance space and an open air amphitheater.

The Carnegie Library Building

CCE is partnering with the Kingston City School District to remake this historic building into an arts technology hub. The building has been vacant for over thirty years and is in need of extensive renovation, but we are optimistic that we will be able to open it for new uses in the fall of 2009. The building will have two large performing arts studios upstairs and a complex of arts technologies downstairs, including the Kingston High School television station, a podcasting studio, video and recording facilities, and a small stage.
